The 11^th Annual Fellow, Resident & Medical Student Research Summit at Orthopaedic Summit 2025 will take place Friday, September 19 – Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. This Fellow, Resident & Medical Student Research Summit offers an outstanding opportunity for current and recently graduated fellows, residents, and medical students across all orthopaedic subspecialties to showcase their research and engage with leading experts in the field.

  • Poster Presentation only

Presentation Details

• All presenters must be registered for Orthopaedic Summit 2025 to attend and present.
• Each presenter may deliver one (1) abstract only — either a podium or poster presentation — no exceptions.
• Oral podium presenters will receive a waived registration fee and be eligible for a travel grant.
• Poster presenters will receive a reduced registration fee.

Abstract Submission Portal

• Submission deadline: Monday, June 16, 2025 (Deadline Extended: Friday, June 20, 2025)
• Notification of acceptance: July 2025

Submission Guidelines

To maintain a high-quality, balanced program and ensure the highest quality of presentations and equal opportunity for all participants, please adhere to the following:

• Eligibility
  • Recently graduated fellows, current fellows, residents, and medical students can submit abstracts to be considered for oral podium presentation or poster presentation.
  • Attendings and practicing physicians can submit abstracts to be considered for poster presentation only.
• Submission Limit
  • Maximum of three abstracts per submitting author.
• Verification Letter Required
  • A letter of approval on institutional letterhead must be submitted from your Program Chair or Medical School Dean, either at submission or upon acceptance.
  • This letter must confirm authorization to travel and present if selected.

Abstract Formatting Requirements

• Abstract submission requirements:
  • Single page, 11-point font, 1-inch margins, 1.5 -line spacing
  • Structure: Purpose/Hypothesis, Methods, Results, Conclusions
  • No images, tables, figures
  • Accepted file types: PDF
  • Max. file size: 256 MB
• Abstract submissions that do not adhere to the guidelines or are incomplete will not be considered.
• Case studies and database studies are strongly discouraged unles they offer significant impact on clinical practice.
