Augustus D. Mazzocca treats all shoulder and elbow problems clinically. He is dedicated to education from the medical student, resident, and fellow level working actively at the University of Connecticut to create one of the best educational environments in the world. He collaborates both nationally and internationally on many research projects advancing the understanding of various shoulder pathologies and surgical solutions. He has helped build a research group that involves clinical Bioskills and VR training, Biomechanical testing, Biological evaluation of tendon healing as well as clinical outcomes so all facets of patient care are evaluated for improvement.
