Brian R. Hallstrom, MD

Brian Hallstrom is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Associate Chief of Staff at the University of Michigan Health Systems. He is the founder and Co-Director of the Michigan Arthroplasty Registry Collaborative Quality Initiative (MARCQI), a statewide collaboration of surgeons and medical professions working to improve the quality of care for hip and knee replacement patients. His clinical and research interests include implant and medical quality improvement, and using evidence and data to improve practice at the individual surgeon, hospital, and systems levels.
