Ronald A. Navarro, M.D. is the southern California Regional Orthopaedic Chief with reponsibility for ortho clinical activities in all of SCAL Kaiser Permanente. He joined KP as an orthopaedic sports medicine specialist in 1997 after a fellowship in shoulder, arthroscopy, and sports medicine at University of Pittsburgh. He is a well published author in shoulder and knee surgery, and was recently inducted into the exclusive American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon Society. He is also Assistant Area Medical Director overseeing all Surgical Services in Harbor City, after having been Chief of the Department of Orthopaedics at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center, for 8 years.
