Michael Gerhardt

Dr. Gerhardt is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and Hip Preservation. He currently serves as Team Physician for the US Soccer Men’s National Team, the Los Angeles Galaxy and the Los Angeles Football Club of Major League Soccer. He is a member of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai, and also serves as a dedicated faculty member of the Kerlan-Jobe Institute Sports Medicine Fellowship Program where he is the current Director of Education. Dr. Gerhardt’s research focus involves basic science, biomechanical and clinical research of hip and pelvis disorders. His clinical expertise focuses on minimally invasive surgery of the hip and pelvis including hip arthroscopy, soft tissue repair and anterior approach hip replacement.
