D. Greg Anderson

D. Greg Anderson, MD, is an academic orthopaedic spinal surgeon currently working at the Rothman Institute and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His career began with residency training at the University of California, Irvine. He then served in the U.S. Air Force and was name the Chief of Orthopaedics at Langley Air Force Base. He then completed his fellowship in Spinal Surgery through the Departments of Orthopaedics and Neurological Surgery at the Thomas Jefferson University. Following the completion of his training, Dr. Anderson worked as an Assistant Professor for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Virginia. He joined the faculty at his current practice in 2004 and is currently holds a Professorship of Orthopaedic and Neurological Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University. He was a founding member of the Society of Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery and continues to have a special interest in minimally invasive spine care. He is blessed to have a wonderful wife and two sons.
