This 3-hour educational event displays the comprehensive solutions in arthroscopic minimally invasive procedures, shoulder fracture, and shoulder arthroplasty. Attendees will hear from industry thought leaders on each of these solutions as well as opioid-sparing pain management, and will participate in a cadaveric lab of their procedural interest.

Sports Medicine | In collaboration with AANA, Mitek Sports Medicine is pleased to offer a unique mini-fellowship opportunity with dedicated stations designed for surgeons who are interested in faculty led cadaveric training on arthroscopic minimally invasive treatment methodologies. This interactive cadaveric lab will offer an educational hands on experience and the ability to have your questions answered as the procedure is being performed. Our esteemed faculty will lead a comprehensive cadaveric review of the surgical techniques and tips for arthroscopic shoulder and or knee procedures based on surgeons selection. These sessions will feature the latest DePuy Synthes Mitek Sports Medicine comprehensive shoulder and knee solutions.

Shoulder Arthroplasty | Surgeons interested in Shoulder Arthroplasty will experience dedicated stations directed by expert faculty leading cadaveric training for Total Shoulder Arthroplasty, Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty and Complex Humeral Fractures. Featured products include the GLOBAL® UNITE® Platform Shoulder System including the recently launched GLOBAL® UNITE® Reverse Fracture. Each station will also utilize our new TruMatch Personalized Shoulder Solution™ pin guides for use with GLOBAL® APG and DELTA XTEND™ Glenoid components. Join our esteemed faculty for review of surgical techniques as well as tips and pearls across the continuum of care for Shoulder Arthroplasty.

Trauma | For proximal humerus fractures these dedicated stations have been designed for surgeons who are interested in faculty led cadaveric training on options in treatment methodologies. The interactive cadaveric lab sessions will be led by an expert faculty to provide the best educational hands on experience, and the ability to answer your questions as the procedure is being performed. A comprehensive cadaveric review of the surgical techniques and tips for the treatment of complex proximal humerus fractures will leverage the DePuy Synthes 3.5MM LCP® Proximal Humerus Plates, 3.5MM LCP® Periarticular Proximal Humerus Plates and MultiLoc® Humeral Nail. These stations will also feature a novel way to treat transverse fractures of the humerus leveraging continuous compression implants while reviewing practical applications of the latest innovation in biomaterials.
