Tips for Success!
Avoid Wi-Fi
- Use the 25’ ethernet cord in your gift box to connect your computer directly to your cable or ISDN modem.
- Turn off your Wi Fi to avoid interference with the now hardwired connection.
- If it is not possible to connect to your modem, consider experiencing OSET Digital from your office or institution, as often you will have hardwired access there.
Reduce Computer Congestion
- Close out of other programs while using OSET Digital.
- Plug your computer into power and avoid using your battery only.
Lighting is Key
- If you have a ring light, it’s best to center it directly above your computer screen.
- Avoid sitting in areas that have harsh overhead lighting, that are dimly lit or in front of windows as the backlight will make it difficult to see your face.
Find Your Best Angle
- Set your computer on a level surface.
- Place your device’s camera at your eye level and frame yourself in the center of the screen.
- Limit movement while your camera is active.
