Todd J. Albert, MD is a Spine Surgeon and the Surgeon in Chief Emeritus at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He has had 13 years of leadership positions as the Richard Rothman Professor and Chair at the Thomas Jefferson University, President of the Rothman Institute prior to becoming SIC and Chair of the Orthopaedics at Weill Cornell Medical College. He is past President of the Cervical Spine Research Society and the Scoliosis Research Society. With a specialty interest in Cervical Spine Disorders and Deformity he has published over 40 publication, 170 book chapters and 12 books. He has received numerous awards for his research and leadership, most recently the Nicolas Andry Award from the Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons in 2019.
